Live coaching on every call.
RingMentor sits on your rep's screen during the call and gives them short cues they can use right then: what to ask next, what to stop saying. After the call it writes the review. Managers see where each rep and each script needs work. Built for small teams in regulated sales.
In pilot with a live call center team. Taking a small number of early teams.
Your reps are alone on the call.
You can sit with one rep at a time. The rest are on their own. You hear maybe a handful of their calls, days later, after the deal is already won or lost.
New reps freeze on the first hard objection. Some of them quit before they ever get good. You paid to recruit and train every one of them.
And in regulated sales, one wrong sentence is a real problem. "Guaranteed." "Free." "We work with the government." By the time anyone reviews that call, it already happened.
Call recording tools tell you what went wrong last week. RingMentor helps the rep get it right on this call.
During the call
Short cues the rep can use right now.
A small window sits on top of the rep's screen. It listens to both sides of the call and follows your script. It never talks to the customer. It only helps the rep.
Coaching
The next question to ask, or the point they skipped. "They named cost. Tie the next benefit to cost."
Technique
Rapport moves that fit the moment. A mirror, a label, an open question.
Critical
When the rep says something risky, a red cue shows the swap. "Swap 'free' for 'net-zero cost'." No lecture in the middle of a call.
Stages
It follows the call from open to close, so the cues fit where the call actually is.
Playbooks
It works from your script and your rules. If the call pivots to a different product, the rep switches playbooks without hanging up.
No scorecard
The rep takes what fits, in their own words, and ignores the rest.
After the call
The review writes itself.
A few seconds after the rep hangs up, the after-action report is ready:
- What the rep committed to
- Questions the customer asked that never got answered
- Topics to bring back next time
- A suggested agenda for the next call with that customer
During the call the coach is brief, because the rep is busy. After the call it explains the why, the way a good mentor would, because now the rep has time to learn.
Every morning each rep gets one email that rolls up yesterday's calls: compliance items first, then patterns and wins, then the detail per call.
Commitments the rep made
- 02:41"I'll send the one-page summary before end of day."
- 06:15"I'll have the enrollment window date for you by Thursday."
Open questions from customer
- 04:02Does this change anything for employees already on the group plan?
- 07:30What happens if an employee leaves mid-year?
Recovery topics
- 05:10Cost came up twice and the call moved on both times. She named cost as the reason the last vendor was dropped. Tie the next benefit to cost before presenting again.
Next-call agenda
- 04:02Open with the answer to the group-plan question.
- 06:15Bring the enrollment window date.
- 08:12Ask who else signs off before the next step.

- Every call, reviewable.
- Full transcript with each cue shown where it fired, what the rep did with it, and how the call ended.
- Stage by stage.
- For each script, see how far calls get: open, discover, qualify, present, close. The stage where a rep falls behind the rest of the team is where to coach them.
- Rep problem or script problem.
- If one rep stalls at a stage, coach the rep. If everyone stalls there, fix the script.
- Who is actually using it.
- Active days, coached calls, and no-answers per rep, so you know the tool is in use before you judge what it tells you.
- Dial it per rep.
- Strict coaching for the new hire, flexible for the veteran.
- Your dialer, if you want it.
- Connect your dialer or CRM and call outcomes fill in on their own. If you don't connect anything, everything else still works.
Compliance
Rules for your kind of call, in plain English.
Pick the rule sets that apply to each playbook: debt collection and telemarketing rules, truth in advertising, recording disclosure, plus anything specific to your business. When a rep crosses one, the red cue gives them the safe way to say it.
Every rule set comes with a plain-English page you can hand to your team or your client: what the coach flags, what the rep says instead, and what is not the coach's job. See an example.
New kind of campaign? A rule set for a new vertical takes days to build, not months.
The library is a research-based starting point, not legal advice. Your counsel decides what applies to your calls.
No IT project.
Add a rep with a name and an email. They get a link, install the Windows app, and they are on a coached call. There is nothing to wire into your phone system to get started.
Change a script in the portal and it is live on the next call. Nobody updates anything.
Built for calls where the rules matter.
- The rep always confirms before any audio is captured.
- If your calls need a recording disclosure, RingMentor listens for it. If the rep forgets, they get a quiet reminder. The wording is yours, not ours.
- Each session records whether the disclosure was given.
- Every organization's data is walled off from every other organization's.
- Sessions are deleted after your retention window. One year by default, and you can change it.
Why I built this
I'm not a developer. I've spent most of my career building and running teams, and I've sat next to a lot of reps who were struggling alone on a live call. The coaching they needed always showed up a week later, in a review of calls they barely remembered.
So I built the thing I wished I could hand them. RingMentor is a signed Windows app, a manager portal, and a cloud backend, all live and all built by me with AI doing the coding. It has been through more than twenty-five releases and it is running on real calls today.
If you run a small team in a regulated business, or you just want to talk about how it was built, I'd like to hear from you.

Not a sales team? If your people are on regulated calls of any kind (collections, intake, service), ask. The coach works from your script and your rules, whatever the call is.
